Terms of Service
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you") and BLAZE LABS PTY LTD (ABN 66 694 592 553) ("we," "us" or "our"), concerning your access to and use of the BlazeXL platform, consisting of the Governed Runtime, the Governance Gateway, and associated Universal Surfaces.
2. The Governed Runtime
BlazeXL is a Governed Runtime for Enterprise Decisions. The Service provides high-performance Python execution via the Compute Grid, centralized auditability via the Governance Gateway, and the ability to create immutable, version-locked logic units known as Blaze Blocks. The Service is provided to institutional and professional users "as is" and "as available."
3. User Responsibilities & Logic Sovereignty
By utilizing the Governed Runtime, you agree that:
- Logic Accountability: You are responsible for all Python code executed within your provisioned Compute Grid environments, whether generated by AI, manually authored, or retrieved from the Marketplace.
- Ingestion Rights: You must possess all necessary rights and permissions for data ingested through Universal Surfaces (Excel ranges, local file uploads, or clipboard pasting).
- Prohibited Exploits: You will not attempt to subvert the hardware isolation of the Compute Grid or perform unauthorized penetration testing on the Governance Gateway.
- Compliance: Your use of the Service must comply with all local, state, and international laws, particularly those concerning data sovereignty and financial reporting.
4. Compute Grid Isolation
BlazeXL executes logic in sandboxed, hardware-isolated environments. While we maintain industry-leading isolation protocols, you acknowledge that executing versioned logic (Blaze Blocks) carries inherent computational risks. BlazeXL is not responsible for errors in logic authored or deployed by the user.
5. Deterministic AI & Grounded Code
The BlazeXL AI Analyst is designed to produce deterministic Python code. While we provide a "Grounded" environment to verify execution, users are responsible for the final audit of any logic before it is promoted to production-grade Blaze Blocks within their organization.
6. Intellectual Property & Blaze Blocks
The underlying BlazeXL infrastructure (Gateway, Grid, Surfaces) remains the exclusive property of BLAZE LABS PTY LTD. Your proprietary data and the unique code contained within your Blaze Blocks remain your intellectual property. Publicly shared Blaze Blocks are subject to the licensing terms specified at the time of publication in the Marketplace.
7. Subscription Governance
Access to the Governance Gateway is billed per-seat on a recurring basis. Organizations are responsible for managing their identity provisioning and ensuring that seat allocations align with their active user base.
8. Institutional Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BLAZE LABS PTY LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from organizational decisions made using logic executed on the Compute Grid. Our platform provides the runtime; the decisions remain the responsibility of the user.
9. Service Availability
We strive for 99.9% uptime for the Governance Gateway. However, Compute Grid availability may fluctuate based on global cloud infrastructure performance or scheduled maintenance protocols.
10. Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from the use of the Governed Runtime shall be resolved within this jurisdiction.
11. Protocol Updates
We reserve the right to update these Terms to reflect changes in our governance protocols or infrastructure. Significant changes will be communicated via the Workspace Command Center 30 days in advance.
12. Legal Oversight
